A reputation for the highest quality and exclusivity has made Rao’s family restaurant a staple in New York’s gastronomic scene. Rao's has only ten tables, which are purchased by regular customers and owned for life. Wanting to bring their delicious Southern Italian cuisine to the customers that couldn’t fit in their tiny East Harlem restaurant, the owners of Rao’s created a line of food products using the same recipes that made them legendary. Since 1993, when “The Marinara Sauce” was developed based on a recipe that has been passed down for generations, a wide range of pasta sauces have been added to the line. Everything is prepared with the finest, freshest, all natural ingredients, without added sugars or fillers. This gives Rao’s a taste that’s uniquely homemade.
